Association Updates

Twin Cities Kappas Alumnae Newsletter, Summer 2025 Updates

A Note from Hannah

Dear Twin Cities Kappas,

I hope this message finds you well! I’m excited to share updates on all things KKG happening in the Twin Cities this summer and into early fall. From fun social events to exciting opportunities to reconnect with Chi Chapter, there’s something for everyone.

With the support of Headquarters, myself and Shelby Stahl are actively working to rebuild our Alumnae Association—and your involvement is key!

Additionally, Chi chapter at the University of MN is eager to reconnect with Twin Cities alumni after several years of limited engagement due to the dormancy of our association and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As an advisor supporting alumni involvement, I’m helping to reestablish these important connections. The chapter is excited to collaborate with us through volunteer opportunities, shared events, and a potential mentorship program.

If you have any questions, want to get involved, or know of other Kappas in the area, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Let’s make this a season of sisterhood!

Loyally yours,
Hannah Turpin

Rebuilding the Twin Cities Alumnae Association

We’re making great strides toward reactivating our alumnae association, and your involvement is key!

Ways You Can Help:

Pay your alumni dues
We are currently working on the technical details so we can begin collecting dues again. We are hoping to have this information updated by early Fall 2025 (maybe sooner!). Please reach out with any questions.

Connect with other alumnae
Around 18 sisters have reached out so far—amazing! Keep spreading the word.

Help shape our future leadership
The selection of our new Board (President, Secretary, Treasurer) will take place in Fall 2025. If you are interested in taking on a leadership role with the alumni association, please reach out.

The alumni association is also required to hold four meetings per year to maintain active status with Headquarters. While we do not expect to meet the meeting requirement before the end of this calendar year, our goal is to make steady progress toward that benchmark. Rebuilding takes time, and every step we take now lays the foundation for a strong and sustainable future.

If you're interested in volunteering or joining the board, reach out today!
